For the 15th edition of Funk Bottoms Gravel we have made another amazing route. There will be over 18 miles on new roads never ridden in previous versions. That makes 15 years and 15 different routes. There will be 11.7 miles of pavement in 10 sections, 82% of the route will be gravel. Just like the previous years there will be one secret checkpoint on the route along with a small town where you will be able to purchase food.
Here are the details for the 15th Funk Bottoms Gravel on June 14, 2025. Important course notes with sections of this year's route where you need to pay extra attention to navigation and safety. Once again this year the 200K will start at 7:00 am, and the 100K will start at 8:00 am. The starting location is Glenmont Park.
The course will be marked the day before with color-coded turns. Think like a pirate as you navigate the gravel seas of Ohio. All Starboard turns will have green signs, and all Port turns will have red signs. Fluorescent Green arrows will be painted on the route to help assist with your navigation. Course markings may be removed or damaged by race morning. Use your cue sheet, it is accurate.
Full details on the route can be found on the Course Maps page. I will update course notes or make changes if needed.
