Funk Family Fun Ride

Back by popular demand! The Funk Family Fun Ride.  Have you ever wanted to participate in Funk Bottoms Gravel but do not have the time or fitness for the full 200K or half-distance 100k? There has been an unofficial fun ride the last few years after everyone started.

Sample some of the course and enjoy the scenic views while still helping out the Holmes County Trail.  The Funk Family Fun Ride will be approximately 40K in length.  The family "fun" ride will start at 9:00 and will be non-timed and no awards.  The cost will be $25 but everyone will get a shirt and $10 of the entry fee will be donated to Holmes County Trail. When you are done hang out and watch the 100K and 200K racers finish.

Important Course Notes for 2024 Funk Family Fun Ride.

The route will follow the regular 100K/200K route until mile 16 then turn left on Twp 136

Twp Rd 136 changes to Twp Rd 8.  Mile 17.3 Use caution when turning on US 62.

Once on Twp 10 go through the tunnel under the HCT.  

Mile 18 there is a driveway/ access rd. to the Holmes County Trail

Mile 21 when you get to Baddow Pass at Twp 75 turn left then right down Twp 14.  If you don't want any more gravel keep on the HCT to Glenmont.

Mile 25 right on OH 520 and back to the Glenmont Park for a cold Yuengling!

The Funk Family Fun Ride follows the regular 100K and 200K for the first few miles.  The course will be released in May 2024.
