Funk Bottoms Update

First off thanks to everyone who has registered, we have our largest filed ever.  All 250 slots were filled 6 weeks before the race.

There is a waitlist for this year's race, if someone drops out of the race the next person on the waitlist will move to the start list.  You have until Friday, June 9th to make any category changes.

There will be an optional Friday night check-in at the Glenmont Village Park.  Time yet to be determined, most likely 6-8 pm.

New this year the 200K will start at 7:00 am and the 100K will start at 8:00am.

This year's course will go through the village of Killbuck around mile 23 and there will be stores to get food and water.  Around mile 53 you can venture about half a mile off course to a Dollar General.  There will be a secret checkpoint again this year supplied by Hammer Nutrition.

We will have awards for the top 3 in all categories plus prizes from our amazing sponsors.  The winner of each category will receive a case of beer from YuenglingDeFeet is sending socks for the podium winners, Steadfast Fenders has created custom front fenders for the podium winners as well. Kenda will be providing tires, Fuzzy Stichworks has made bags for the 200K winners.

Any 200K racer that finishes in under 11 hours will earn the coveted Cook'Em Kwick Hobo Stove.  There will also be special pint glasses for the 200K finishers.

The last 2 miles will be the same as the 2019 course. Ride down the abandoned railbed, through Briar Hill Stone, and back on the trail before a creek crossing.  Please do not ride through Briar Hill before race day since it's private property.

To help us with final planning we would appreciate it if you took a moment of your time to answer a brief 5 question survey. https://forms.gle/odVJfo129MG5zzxW8

This year's race will be the second stop in the Ohio Gravel Race Series.

For anyone that is still reading, one of the course markers will be painted gold.   The first person to show a picture of the Golden Course Marker at the finish will win a special prize.
